Lord's Allen Stand
Description
O’Keefe was appointed as contractor by Ellmers Principal to deliver the basement and reinforced concrete frame for the new Allen Stand at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The scope of works includes the installation of silent sheet piling to form the basement box, excavation of approximately 2,800m³ of material, and the implementation of a robust waterproofing strategy. O’Keefe is also responsible for the construction of the in-situ concrete basement box, the formation of a double lift shaft core, and the pouring of the upper floor concrete slabs. Other works include drainage installation, the provision of an attenuation tank and service ducts, and the installation of potable water and fire main services to support the new structure.
The project has an approximate value of £2 million.
