Creed Court
Description
O’Keefe Demolition were instructed by the main contractor to carry out demolition and enabling works of the 5 storey
site known as Creed court. The site was located in the St. Paul’s conservation area within the City of London.
Surrounding the site were restaurants, boutique retail units, larger commercial offices, hotels and residents. Section 60 working was required and strictly monitored. Dust, noise and vibration management was in place from from the outset and was strictly monitored by the project team.
The façade on Ludgate Hill was to be retained using an innovative retention scheme devised in-house and approved by the City of London.
Significant temporary works were required below ground following the basement demolition to support the highways and footpaths. This was carried out whilst the pile-mat installation was taking place with the crushed arising from the demolition.
A community liaison team ensured we informed every party of our up-coming works during the project which included road closures, service disconnections, hoarding alterations and amenity movements.
